AICPA Seeks Comments on ASB’s Proposed Strategic Plan for 2026 to 2030

On March 18, 2025, the AICPA announced that the ASB is seeking comments on its proposed strategic plan for 2026 to 2030.  According to the AICPA, the proposed strategic plan focuses on five initiatives: (1) developing high-quality standards in the public interest; (2) enhancing communications with AICPA stakeholders; (3) thinking and operating strategically; (4) ensuring standards remain relevant in a changing environment; and (5) supporting effective implementation and application of ASB standards.

Comments on the new strategic plan proposal are due by June 13, 2025, and can be made by completing a survey here or sending comments directly to commentletters@aicpa-cima.com.  The AICPA’s press release about the strategic plan can be found here.
