Dainec Stefan is a Staff Attorney in the Special Matters and Government Investigations Practice Group in the New York office of King & Spalding. His practice focuses primarily on white-collar criminal defense litigation, internal and government investigations, corporate compliance, and regulatory matters.

Previously, Dainec served as a Judge Advocate for the United States Air Force on active duty. In that capacity, Dainec litigated cases both as a prosecutor and a defense attorney. He was selected to the Air Force's first cadre of Special Trial Counsel.  

Dainec earned his law degree from the New York University School of Law. During law school, Dainec was the Senior Articles Editor for the New York University Journal of International Law and Politics. He also interned in the Civil Frauds Division of the US Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York. He completed his undergraduate education at the University of Missouri and earned his B.A. in Political Science in 2014.
